MARCH MADNESS BASKETBALL PARTY
The March madness is over.... and the University of North Carolina are National Champions for 2009. 35 players participated in this years Bridgeport Rotary tournament. D. William "Bill' Davis was the top points getter this year with 264 points and picking North Carolina as the overall winner.
The Annual Basketball party was held at the Brookside Volunteer Fire Department Hall on March 30th. Great food and fun was the order of the evening along with the NCAA championship Game.
The winners of the different games were:
John Pokas - Winner of the first half points Dorothy Turos - Winner of the second half points
Pool Tournament - John Pokas and Bob Thomas Poker - David Weaver, George Schuster and Alicia Schuster split
50/50 Winner - Jane Weaver
