ANNUAL EASTER FLOWER SALE
The 2009 Easter Flower sale was help on Friday April 10th and Saturday April 11th at two locations in Bridgeport. The Citizens Bank at Howard Street and the Marathon gas station on National Road. Club members as well as student members of the St. Johns High School Interact Club manned the flatbed trucks donated by Bills Towing and Auto Repair. The weather was a bit rough for those who worked the Friday hours with scattered rain showers throughout the day. Satruday's weather was absolutely perfect with clear blue skies and a light breeze. Ponzani Florist of Bridgeport. A wide range of flower types from lilies tulips, and other beautiful plants were available for sale. The has been major fundraiser for the club and one that all enjoy participating in. The profiles from the sale are being shared with the St. John Interact club.
