OTHER ACTIVITIES!!

Martha will be doing many other activities during her stay here in Ohio. This page will show all the extra things that she's invited to attend. 

AUGUST 22, 2005 - Alicia took Martha to a concert by the 1950's rock-n-roll group "Sha Na Na!" During the concert, Martha was asking to come up onto the stage to sing and dance with the group!! One of the activities they asked Martha to do was use the Hoola Hoop!!! She did fantastic with it!!!

AUGUST 29, 2004 - President George W. Bush made a campaign visit to the Wesbanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia, directly across the Ohio River from Bridgeport, Ohio. Alicia was able to get tickets and took Martha to see him. The crowd was huge and security was very tight. One of Martha's wishes while she is here is to visit Washington DC. Now she can say she saw the President before ever getting there!

SEPTEMBER 23, 2004 - Martha is the program for the Bridgeport Rotary Club meeting. Alicia introduced her to the members. She spoke about her native country of the Ukraine and the city of Lviv. She spoke about the books that her father has written and the music CDs he has make. She also spoke about her family, how she likes being in Ohio, and what she would like to do while she is here. At the end of her presentation she presented  Club President Mike Goclan with a banner from her host Rotary club in the Ukraine. President Mike then presented Martha with a banner from the Bridgeport Rotary Club to take home with her. She will be speaking at seven other Rotary Clubs in the area during her stay.
